Sports Management Administration

 

This program provides students a fundamental understanding in managing the business of sport. It focuses on aspects from a contemporary perspective which includes communications, marketing and ethics. In general it will enable students to gain knowledge, understanding, skills and values in functional and general administrative areas. The sport industry relies heavily on the skills, dedication and contribution of sport managers as they work alongside with volunteers, players, coaches and other stakeholders developing and guiding the business of sport.

The final term is presented cater to the students’ general interest in business administration. The aim is to provide students with the foundations to become managers and administrators. Students will be equipped with knowledge of business theories, policies and procedures and be prepared to take a responsible position within the business world.

 Program Admission Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, or age 19 and above; Minimum of 60% on the College’s Placement Test or a minimum of IELTS 5.0.

Sport Marketing Fundamentals

Advanced Sport Marketing

ACE Personal Trainer (in-house course)

Term 2

Developing a Model Soccer Club

Team Management and Coaching

Sport Ethics

Event Management in Sport & Recreation

Teaching Sport skills Sports Leadership

Term 3

Students must select six (6) electives from the following Business Administration program courses to fulfill Term 3:
